Ozeki MediaGateway SIP SDK makes it possible to connect to a server from Silverlight applications. It is based on Ozeki VoIP SIP SDK that provides stable background since it is a true .Net solution. It allows to make SIP voice and video calls, to develop own softphone, IVR applications, Silverlight/Flash text/voice/video chat programs, supports web-to-web voice and video calls, SIP DTMF signaling, browser to browser calls, javascript call management, auto and predictive dialer. With the included test component time, energy and money can be saved. Ozeki SIP SDK provides essential server side services via its MediaGateway object, such as client-server connection functionalities and media data transfer related functions. This service cluster can be extended with additional services according to your needs. Basic functions provided by the MediaGateway can be extended with a simple function declaration with optional C# built-in data type parameters or in case of complex data type (reference) parameters it is made as ASObject. It is also possible to specify a parameter that includes a potential block that includes the previously provided data type. The Silverlight client has two tasks: connection to the EasyConnectionServer and sending one or more text messages via the Welcome service of the server. Then it also displays the messages that arrived from the server. Since Ozeki MediaGateway requires server side implementation, it needs to be instanced by providing which IP address, which port and which service name should be used by the actual service. The third parameter is the service name, it is not included in this source code because it has a default name that is used here. In order to improve voice quality various codecs are supported: G.711 aLaw/uLaw, G.729, iLBC, GSM, G.722, SPEEX, SPEEX-WB. Moreover outstanding PBX systems compatibility is guaranteed: Cisco Unified CM, Asterisk PBX, 3CX Phone System, etc. Royalty free licensing is offered with no extra costs
